"PlanningMatters", the Royal Town Planning Institute’s on-line learning tool for Planners, is unfortunately no longer available. Although the product was re-launched in 2009 in collaboration with our partners Kaplan Hawksmere, the take-up of "Planning Matters" has not been as widespread as had been hoped, and following a review with Kaplan Hawksmere, both partners have concluded that the model is unfortunately not sustainable in its present form.

The RTPI is absolutely committed to developing and broadening the range of accessible learning tools for planning students and professionals, exploiting new technology and opportunities. We will be launching a new virtual learning environment in the spring, and we look forward to bringing you more information on this shortly.
